Bonneval Celebrates Product Launch

After years of hard work Bonneval water was finally launched in France.

An exhibition is being held for three weeks at the U shopping mall in Bourg Saint Maurice, hometown of the Bonneval source – conform to hygienic requirements – so that despite of Covid-19, the inhabitants of the valley can get an exclusive preview of the product. Afterall Bonneval, natural mineral water from the French Alps, is part of the village’s history.

The two founders, David Merle and Jean Moueix, have shaped this ambitious project step by step over the past years. “What took us a long time, was to ensure that for each step of the process, we did our best from an environmental point of view”, confides Moueix.

“We have worked hard for the past three years to make this water available to the local population first, then the rest of France and then possibly for export. At each step of the process, we chose the most virtuous methods to respect both environment and nature”, he summarises.

Everything was created or chosen with ambitious ecological goals in mind – including the packaging. The bottles are manufactured using recycled plastics (rPET), the labels specifically developed to support recycling.

Bonneval chose EcoStream by CCL Label to ensure the rPET of their bottles can be reused. Thanks to the clean separation of label and rPET flakes, the raw materials can be returned seamlessly into the recycling stream ensuring maximum quality and yield.

The EcoStream technology guarantees that the labels detach from the rPET during the recycling process without leaving traces of ink or adhesive behind. Their low-density enables the sink/float process for easy separation of materials.
