After a first successful launch of sleeved bottles in April, William Grant & Sons has launched a second promotional range of Sailor Jerry Rum together with CCL UK.
The sleeves were designed with Norman Keith Collins in mind, a prominent American tattoo artist also known as “Sailor Jerry”.
The gypsy girl and homeward bound ship from the April editions are now replaced by an American eagle and pin-up girl – all designs from the father of old school tattoos Collins.
The blackness of the sleeves creates a perfect base for the colourful tattoo motifs. The matt lacquer finish provides the bottles with an extraordinary look and feel. Thanks to the sophisticated sleeve construction they are scuff resistant and therefore guarantee a perfect appearance – almost as lasting as a tattoo.
Dave Hort, Senior Brand Manager of Sailor Jerry said: “We wanted to provide our consumers with a collectable run of new bottle wraps based on the great, iconic works of our founding father Norman Collins. These new wraps showcase some of the highest quality flash art that has spanned generations, and we’re proud to continue spreading the word of Norman Collins through this limited edition packaging.”
