Lauretana Minimises Environmental Impact

of Returnable Bottle Line

The exclusive Lauretana bottle designed by Pininfarina is dedicated to the Ho.Re.Ca sector. The unmistakable glass bottle was designed to represent a perfect synthesis between quality, design, shape and content.
Decorated with a WashOff label with exceptional high-gloss silver the products high- quality and lightness is underlined perfectly.
At Lauretana the label is described as “Pure light, essential, refined. It lights up the front part and, in a game of reflexes, reports on the back the information for the consumer”.
Lauretana invested in new equipment for washing their returnable glass bottles and chose CCL Label’s WashOff decoration solution. These choices helped decrease the consumption of water during the washing cycle. The WashOff labels are removed during the standard washing programme without impacting the washing bath or bottles. Adhesive and inks stay on the labels while they shrink to minimise volume and are easy to extract from the machine.
The source for “the lightest water in Europe” was discovered more than half a century ago by Teresio Rossello while hiking in the mountains. It is situated in a place 1050 metres above sea level named Caruzza in Graglia, Italy. A pristine place, far from industrial and urban sites. When the bottling started in 1965 and the water was named Lauretana.
